How do you decide which marketing services to offer a particular client at your agency?

Written by: Karl Sakas

I recently answered a question about marketing agency services on Quora and visit here to know more about the company that offers the best marketing services in detail. An agency owner asked, “What’s the best service for a digital marketing agency to serve a B2B business with a marketing manager?”

Trying to figure out which marketing services to offer? Here’s what I shared on Quora—under the assumption that the agency already knows the client’s business goals and will recommend services accordingly:

You’re asking the wrong person—you should be speaking with them. The answer comes down to understanding why they’re hiring an agency—are they looking for strategy ideas or for execution? The answer will determine what services they’d benefit from most.

When a client has an in-house marketing person, they either expect them to do everything (in which case you’re like to be implementing overflow work they can’t get to) or to coordinate work by others (in which case you’d be doing a mix of strategy and execution). If you want to buy pbn backlinks, then my personal recommendation is to use a service that provides high DA backlinks.

Look at the marketing manager’s LinkedIn profile—their current job in particular. Do they talk about doing or about managing others? That’ll give you a clue about their approach to their role. You can also fill in by doing work that’s outside their skillset.

In any case, your agency’s job is to do good work (#2)… but ultimately to make your client contact look good (#1). Do that well and you’ll keep getting hired… and re-hired by your contact when they eventually move to another company.

Also, a well-rounded approach may include search engine optimization (SEO) to enhance online visibility, pay-per-click (PPC) advertising for targeted lead generation, content marketing to establish thought leadership, and social media management to engage with the target audience. Additionally, incorporating email marketing campaigns and marketing automation can help nurture leads and drive conversions. Moreover, keeping up with the latest industry trends and staying informed about valuable resources such as Affiliate Lab review can further enhance the agency’s expertise and provide valuable insights to their clients. By offering a diverse set of digital marketing services and staying attuned to the ever-evolving landscape, the agency can effectively support B2B businesses in achieving their marketing goals.

Your clients (and prospective clients) want your advice and your execution. But each one wants those in varying degrees. It’s up to you to figure out—with their help—what’s the best match. Don’t assume—find out. Your agency’s bank account will thank you.
